Expedition Features

Our SchooVR platform offers a wide range of interactive educational content for teachers and students to enjoy. Each experience includes immersive 360-degree images, assessment activities, polls, questions, guided audio, and points of interest to enhance the learning experience. With hundreds of engaging and educational virtual reality experiences to choose from, there is something for every teacher and student on our platform.

When you find an Expedition that you would like to use in your classroom, you can easily launch the Expedition from your dashboard.

Launch an Expedition

As a teacher on the SchooVR platform, you have the ability to launch Expeditions and lead your students through immersive virtual reality Expeditions. To launch an Expedition, simply follow these steps:

Go to the library section of the platform and find the Expedition that you want to launch.
Click on the "Launch" button.
A unique Expedition code will be generated, which you can use to invite your students to join the Expedition .
To join the Expedition, students can visit and enter the unique Expedition code.
If you prefer to launch the Expedition without students, you can click on the "Start" button to begin the Expedition on your own.

By launching Expedition, you can lead your students through interactive, educational experiences that are designed to support your curriculum and engage their interests.

Interactive 360 images

We are grateful to our content partners for enabling us to provide teachers and students with a wide range of interactive and engaging educational content. Our virtual reality Expeditions are accessible on any smart device or web browser, making it easy for teachers and students to access them from anywhere.

Each Expedition includes points of interest (POIs) that provide additional information and audio to enhance the learning experience. Teachers can use the "Guide Audience" mode (green button) to guide students through the content, and move to the next panorama by selecting the "next scene" button. With these features, teachers can customize the learning experience to fit the needs of their students and create a dynamic and interactive classroom environment

Expedition content

Teachers and students can easily access the virtual reality lesson content by clicking on the "book" button. Each Expedition is pre-loaded with informative slideshows, quizzes, and resources for both teachers and students. When in "Guide Audience" mode, teachers can also send students various types of information in real-time, allowing for a more interactive and dynamic learning Expedition. With these features, teachers can easily customize the lesson to fit the needs of their students and create a more engaging and interactive classroom environment.

Experience audio

At SchooVR, we recognize the importance of catering to the diverse learning needs of all students. That's why we include audio with all of our virtual reality Expeditions, to enhance the learning experience and make it more accessible to a wider range of learners. The audio can be toggled on or off at any time using the audio icons, allowing teachers and students to customize the learning experience to fit their needs. When combined with VR mode, the audio helps to create an even more immersive and engaging learning experience.

Pre-made quizzes

Our platform allows teachers to launch interactive quizzes in real-time, providing a dynamic and engaging way to assess student understanding. Teachers have the option to mix the questions or show/hide a leaderboard to customize the quiz to fit their needs. Each quiz consists of multiple choice questions, which makes it easy for teachers to assess student understanding and for students to participate in the quiz. These features make it easy for teachers to create a more interactive and engaging classroom environment and assess student learning in a timely and efficient manner.

Virtual reality mode

Our platform allows teachers to launch virtual reality experiences in VR mode, providing a fully immersive and engaging learning experience for students. Teachers can either guide students through the experience in real-time or allow students to explore the content on their own using directional arrows. In VR mode, students can view slideshows, listen to narration, and even complete quizzes, making it a versatile and engaging way to learn. These features give teachers the flexibility to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of their students.
